This year is the year of the partys 20th National Congress. We are also well aware of the great responsibility of Zhengzhou lawyers in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the parties, maintaining the correct implementation of laws, and maintaining social fairness and justice. Therefore, the director of our institute, Li Yuewei, attached great importance to the implementation of the "Notice on strictly implementing the work of lawyers in filing criminal cases involving "Three types of cases" issued by the Jinshui District Justice Bureau. On June 17,2022, at 2:00 pm in the conference room of the law firm organized a"Three types of cases", the case of criminal record of the work of the special study. Among them, the focus of the study was on the "Opinions on strengthening the guidance and supervision over the handling of major and sensitive group cases by lawyers" issued by the Department of Justice of Zhengzhou Province, the "Notice on the handling of major and sensitive group cases by lawyers" issued by the Judicial Department of Henan province, and the "Opinions on the handling of criminal cases by lawyers as defense agents" issued by the all-china Bar Association.

At the meeting, the director of the institute, Li Yuewei, first stressed the importance of guidance and supervision of lawyers handling major, sensitive and mass cases. The main measures to establish and guide the case are as follows: 

1. strengthen the ideological and political education of all the lawyers.

2. Strengthen the basic management responsibility of law firms. 

3. To strengthen the professional training, guidance and supervision of lawyers by the Bar Association.        4. To establish and implement the relevant working system, that is, to set up the reporting and registration system, to set up the guidance system, to set up the supervision system and to set up the punishment system for violation of regulations.

Finally, the scope of“Three types of cases” and the acceptance process are described in detail. First, the scope of major cases, sensitive cases and group cases has been clarified. Secondly, it has emphasized that law firms should have strong political sensitivity and high professional quality when accepting case commissions, a lawyer who has some experience in the field involved in a case acts as a undertaker. And“Three types of cases”, in addition to involving national security, there are clear confidentiality requirements of the case, law firms must undertake a collective study of the case, and have a detailed meeting record. After accepting a case, the law firm should do a good job of filing the case. After the case is handled, the law firm shall submit the case summary to the judicial bureau at the same level and submit the“Report form of major, sensitive and group cases handled by the law firm”.
